By downloading, accessing, or using HabitLog ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.
Description of Service
HabitLog is a comprehensive habit tracking and productivity application that helps users build and maintain positive habits through visual progress tracking, statistics, motivational features, and task management. The App includes:
• Habit tracking with visual heatmap calendars • Todo list and task management with Eisenhower Matrix • Advanced analytics and progress insights • Customizable accessibility features (haptic feedback, visual preferences) • Data export and backup capabilities
The App is available in multiple versions: • HabitLog (Freemium) - Basic habit tracking features • HabitLog Pro - Advanced features and analytics • HabitLog Pro+ - Premium features with enhanced customization
User Accounts and Data
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and for all activities that occur under your account. All data including habits, todos, preferences, and accessibility settings is stored locally on your device, with optional cloud backup for data synchronization across your devices. You retain full ownership and control of your data.
Third-Party Services
HabitLog integrates with third-party services to provide enhanced functionality:
• Firebase Authentication: Used for secure user authentication and account management • Google Analytics: Used for anonymous usage analytics to improve app performance and user experience • Cloud Storage Services: For optional data backup and synchronization
By using HabitLog, you also agree to comply with the terms of service and privacy policies of these third-party providers. We are not responsible for the practices of these third-party services. All integrations are designed to protect your privacy and data security.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use HabitLog only for personal habit tracking and productivity purposes. You may not:
• Use the App for any illegal or unauthorized purpose • Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or modify the App • Share your account credentials with others • Use the App in a way that could harm our services or other users • Circumvent any security features or access controls • Use the App to transmit malicious code or content • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
Premium Features
Some features may require a premium subscription (HabitLog Pro or Pro+). Subscription benefits include:
• Advanced analytics and insights • Enhanced customization options • Priority customer support • Early access to new features
Subscription fees are processed through your app store and are non-refundable except as required by applicable law. You can cancel your subscription at any time through your App Store or Google Play account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Intellectual Property
HabitLog and all its content, features, and functionality are owned by the developers and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
Accessibility and User Experience
HabitLog is committed to providing an accessible and inclusive user experience. The App includes various accessibility features such as haptic feedback, customizable visual preferences, and adaptive interfaces. These features are designed to enhance usability while maintaining your privacy and data security.
Data Rights and Export
You retain full ownership of your data and have the right to:
• Export your habit and todo data at any time • Delete your data through the App settings • Control data backup and synchronization settings • Access your data in standard formats • Request assistance with data-related inquiries
We are committed to data portability and ensuring you maintain control over your information.
Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App in the past 12 months.
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time to reflect changes in our services, applicable laws, or for other legitimate business reasons. We will notify users of any material changes through the App, email, or other appropriate means. Your continued use of the App after such notification constitutes acceptance of the new terms. If you do not agree to the modified terms, you should discontinue use of the App.
